Who are some famous deaf Australians?
my neighbours, not exactly famous yet definitely deaf and absolutely Australian. To compond the misery they are the noisiest people Ive ever known, if they can buy a piece of machinery that makes a noise they buy it and run it as often as possible, they clang hand tools all day and they have loud conversations that are beyond dreary at their front gate, which is next to my bedroom window. They own large logging trucks and the trucks are started up at at daybreak or before. They lock their little dog in the bitches box for an hour every afternoon and she screams and howls at a high pitch note until they let her out. Any time i decide to have a nap or a read, one of these variable disturbances starts. Sunday morning the mowers going or the whipper snipper. Oh God help us. After reading this i am sure it is best if we go deaf also.
