Who are some celebrities and fashion designers who refuse to use/wear fur?
Just go to the PETA site, they have plenty of celebrities speaking for them. (I’m not a PETA fan.) However, I did read in a recent “Vegetarian Times” (no later than May since that was my last issue as I’ve neglected to renew it) that Baby Phat had some clothes that were supposedly fake fur but turned out to be dog fur. Either she didn’t know (the blurb in the mag didn’t say) or somebody just wasn’t doing their management job. Eihter way, it is just another reason for me to not wear her stuff. (I never would have to begin with.) You could try doing a search for “celbrities and fur”, “clothing industry and fur” “fashion and fur” and see what you come up with. While I don’t wear fur or buy leather (I have a couple of pairs of leather loafers and a leather bomber jacke from my pre-veg days: They’re still in good condition and I need the shoes), I would be interested in your results.
