Who are some Atheist humanitarians?
I think the many charitable atheists resist making a song and dance about not believing in god because being an atheist means you do good acts because they are worth it, not because you’re trying to chalk up points with the Big Man. You could also do with being inspired by atheists like Marie Curie, Alexander Fleming, James Watson and Carl Sagan, who have advanced and improved our lives with more than palliative care – they reached out and looked for something that would prevent the bad things happening that needed charity to fix.
