Who are Slipknot?
Slipknot are a hugely popular heavy metal band from Iowa. They were formed in 1995, and the current members have been active since 1999. The current members are; Joey Jordison, Sid Wilson, Craig Jones, Jim Root, Mick Thomson, Shawn Crahan, Corey Taylor, Chris Fehn and Paul Gray. Their first release in 1996 was titled “Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat”, and their first studio album, simply called “Slipknot” was released on June 29, 1999. There amazing follow up album, “Iowa” followed on August 28, 2001. Slipknot released another blockbuster album called “Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)” on May 25, 2004. Their fourth album, “All Hope is Gone” went straight to the top of the Billboard 200 charts, when it was released on August 26, 2008, although it took a sales recount to confirm this.
