Who are Rosencrantz & Guildenstern?
Two minor characters in Shakespeare s “Hamlet.” Long story short, they try to make a quick buck and quickly get in over their heads, to the point of losing them. The name worked, aside from the fact that about one in five people know who Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are, and many that don t think we are a law firm or something. But, aside from that small glitch, the name works because the young entrepreneur thought little of the risks, nor how difficult it would be. So far, we have managed to avoid the plight of the original Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, and have had far more fun. One of our customers has a couple of cats named Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, too. The cats, we hear, are also well.
