ReplayTV is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonic Blue. ReplayTV makes and distributes personal digital video recorders for television, basically, “digital VCRs”. Both companies have been sued by dozens of TV and movie studios for providing the devices to the ReplayTV customers bringing this suit.
