In 2003 Qwix was established as a division of Basix Solutions and later became a company in it’s own right. Qwix specialises in bringing to the market a commercial mobile warehouse management software product designed and written by their own development team. The Qwix marketing and development team had recognised that there was a requirement in the market for the Qwix type of products and that they had the possibility of becoming a commercially viable mobile based software product. Our flagship product, Qwix Warehouse™, began development in 2002 and is currently one of the few South African developed warehouse management systems designed for the mid market which gives Qwix a leading-edge advantage. The first companies to adopt Qwix Warehouse in South Africa were Excellent Meat Market followed by Bolton Footwear (Grasshopper).
