Who Are Phase 1 (2011) Targeted Agencies?
Agencies targeted for first phase include a group of more than 30 agencies currently utilizing the financial systems of the Department of Correctional Services (DOCS) and the Office of General Services (OGS), as well as agencies that predominately use direct-entry into the current CAS. These agencies were selected based on their ability to perform financial operations using the KFMS and APPX financial systems hosted by DOCS and OGS, helping to make the data conversion effort easier. Also, their present technical architecture and operational structures will likely facilitate a smooth transition to NYFMS.
