Who are Maxtors SATA customers?
In the long-term, we expect all customers will migrate to serial ATA at some point. In the short-term, we are in discussions and in drive qualification stages with many leading OEMs and system integrators. Two that we can mention today include ASACA Corporation for its new FireFly DM series digital virtual library, and Okapi Software, which provides a disk-to-disk backup appliance that allows data to be quickly backed up at hard drive speed for eventual storage to tape.
