Pursuant to the Dutch Financial Supervision Act, shareholders and holders of depositary receipts of ING Groep N.V. are required to provide updated information on their holdings once they cross threshold levels of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 75% and 95%. To the best of our knowledge, as at 18 June 2009, there were no holders of depositary receipts with an interest, or potential interest, of 5% or more.
