Who are highest potential emerging companies in the southeastern United States?
The usual suspects are the folks who have received major investment in the past two years. Obviously some people are expecting great things out of QTires, Zipit Wireless, and CreatiVasc. The amounts they have raised indicate that they are delivering something that investors understand. The usual suspects would then continue in SC to the SC Launch portfolio companies as they also have been through a moderately rigorous vetting process. This leaves out all of the others who have either quietly achieved some significant funding or are actually on a slow burn from funds received a couple of years ago as they reach an inflection point in their ability to deliver product to market. These companies might be hard to find as they are quite possibly “heads down” in development. I would suggest asking the question of the professional journalists you know.
