Who are Goths?
Though the name comes from a nomadic tribe who the rest of the world considered barbaric and uncultured, the Goths are people who enjoy living life differently. They are people who refuse to subject themselves to the rules laid down by society. Anything normal and that which is accepted as a requisite to living a totally fake and pretentious life is just not acceptable. The term Gothic was first applied to a certain kind of grunge music but not all self professed Goths like it. It started as sort of a rebellious reaction to the peppy disco scene in the 70’s. They were interested in everything that was morbid and dark. Most religious heads shunned them saying that they were possessed or got by the Devil. Clothes If really keen on getting this look, go on a shopping spree where pick out mainly blacks. Certain essentials are needed like black jeans, a long black skirt, lots of black t-shirts, a leather or vinyl trench coat, buckled boots with heavy metal and dark shades. Go to thrift shop
