WHO ARE FRIENDS OF THE MONTGOMERY CITY-COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY?
Friends of the library are people who know that a community with a first rate library is a better place to live. Friends of the library are important to the City and County of Montgomery. Montgomery needs a strong library system to help educate our children, provide resources to our businesses, and to meet the growing information needs of the community. Friends help this happen. WHY DOES THE LIBRARY NEED FRIENDS? In progressive communities, the public library is one of the main cultural and informational centers of the community. The ideas and voices of individuals are needed to support and promote one of our community’s great assets. MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Membership is $15 for individual and $25 for family, $50 for contributing, $100 for sustaining, and $250 for corporate/sponsor. Dues are tax deductible.
