Who are Degussa Seal Sands?
Degussa Seal Sands (DSS) is a business unit – part of a larger business that has a range of companies, culminating in the majority shareholders Rag A.G. In 2006, Rag purchased Degussa. The company structure, of which DSS is part, is outlined below. The suffix ‘AG’ means Aktiengesellschaft. In Germany, this is the equivalent to the suffix ‘plc’ in the UK, which denotes that the organisation is a company with shareholders.
