Who are Country Alumni Ambassadors?

Country Alumni Ambassadors are volunteers who assist prospective and accepted students and their families with questions about studying at RIT and living in the Rochester area. Their duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following: • Contacting prospective and accepted undergraduate and graduate students by mail, phone and/or e-mail. • Answering questions of prospective and accepted students and their families. • Accompanying RIT Admissions officers and other RIT faculty and staff on school visits, at college fairs and alumni events. • Representing RIT at college fairs and school visits and conducting information sessions for accepted students. • Contacting secondary schools, colleges and universities to assess their interest in receiving information from RIT and following up with those that do. • Maintaining and forwarding a log of students and alumni contacted, educational institutions contacted and visited, and lists of “frequently asked questions” to Sonja Phon
