Who are Camtech?
Camtech was established in 1983 through a partnership with the Adelaide University. Initially Camtech was formed as an ISP, and quickly grew to one of Australia’s largest ISP’s. In 1993, Camtech focused on providing leading E-Commerce products and services to the payments marketplace. In 2006, Camtech was sold by Keycorp Limited to SecurePay Pty Ltd. SecurePay is a major Australian provider of secure electronic payment services (www.securepay.com.au). They provide a broad range of industry specific payment solutions including call and contact centre payment switches, and a range of specialised services for state and local government departments and financial institutions. With over 2,500 clients and an annual value of transactions processed exceeding $6b, SecurePay is Australia’s largest provider in the card-not-present space.
