Who approves CFD Transfer requests?
A. CFD Transfer requests appear before a board of three voting members, and are approved by the HRC Commander. When making their final decision the board is required to consider the current strength of both the gaining and losing career fields and branches/functional areas, as well as the officer’s education and experience. For more information read Transfers Policies and Procedures on the HRC website. During the first 180 days following the release of board results, an officer must appeal versus request transfer. The appeal process is approved by the Army G1.
