A Pre-POWER Test is given by Board approved assessors (check with your local mobile team unit). After passing all assessment areas prior to entering the academy, an academy may still ask the recruit officer to retest. However, passage of the recruit’s Pre-POWER test allows the recruit to enter the full basic training academy.
