Who all have an etnies model shoe?
Povah: Taj has a model, he’s on his third model working on his fourth. Ruben Alcantara is on his first and starting to work on his second. We’re going to do a different color way of an existing shoe with Jamie Bestwick and Morgan Wade is probably in the works for a shoe and also a different color way with Rooftop. We’re moving into more of a mainstream model with Rooftop and Jamie. We feel that a different color way will do better than develop another BMX specific shoe because we’re having trouble selling BMX specific shoes in the mainstream market. Where do you sell the BMX specific shoes? Povah: We do sell them in skate stores. A skateboard store is exactly that, a skateboard store. You don’t have like a beach cruiser/skateboard store or road bike/skateboard stores. With bicycle stores it’s pretty tough because they sell a lot of different things with exercise bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes and then a little corner for BMX.
