If you opened your eyes rather than your mouth then you would have seen that what Buddy Franklin did was not “quite clearly” breaking a rule. It was border line at best. Lance Franklin made a totally fair attempt at a hip and shoulder on a smaller and lighter player in Ben Cousins. As a result of this bump and the force of it on the should and a bit of his chest, Ben Cousins head jolted a bit and at some stage it hit his head. This was not an attempt to decapitate him or deliberately put his elbow out and injure him. The only person who could possibly have come out with a comment like yours would be an Essendon Supporter because as a result of this pathetic suspension, Essendon has the edge over Hawthorn both in defence and attack where as had he been in, Hawthorn would have had a better forward line.
