Who agrees that the midnight express were a great tag team but were are they now?
There’s no denying that the Midnight Express is one of the greatest tag teams of all time. With Jim Cornette as their manager they could draw heat like no other team. They also put on some classic matches against teams like The Road Warriors, The Freebirds, Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard and other great tag teams. In 2003, Eaton worked for NWA Mid-Atlantic forming a new version of the Midnight Express with Rikki Nelson. This Midnight Express version was very short lived as Eaton soon started touring with Dennis Condrey (and sometimes Lane and Cornette) as the Midnight Express instead. This version of the Midnight Express still performs together on select independent wrestling cards in the United States.
