Ans.: 1. Check whether ISM is active. If ISM is active check whether is On and the correct font and script have been chosen. If ISM is not active either quit windows and restart it or run ISM through the program manager using run command in the File menu. 2. Check whether ATM is On. If ATM is Off run the ATM Control Panel, which is in the main group of Windows, switch ATM On and restart Windows. 3. Is this problem specific to an application? Despite ISM supports most of the popular packages running under Windows, some applications require special information in order to run smoothly. Contact CDAC and check whether that application is supported. If it is not supported send details about the kind of problems faced and the application you are using so that it can be taken care in the ensuing versions of ISM.
