While still incarcerated, can a person lose their parole once it has been granted?
Yes. If an inmate is convicted of a law violation, or is found to have violated one or more institutional rules, or where other problems exist before release to parole, the Board may suspend its granted action, and may thereafter rescind the grant decision to take such other action as deemed appropriate. http://www.vadoc.state.va.us/vpb/manuals/pb-procmanual.
