Ans.: This is specific to Acrobat Distiller version 5.0 and above. Use Acrobat Distiller Version 4.0 and all the characters will be displayed properly in the PDF file. The Acrobat Distiller version 5.0 when used with MS-Word it creates the PDF file without any problems. This is a compatibility issue between Pagemaker 7.0 and Distiller 5.0 for which we shall provide a solution as soon as possible.
