Which would you buy, a one owner 1999 Lumina or 1994 Jeep Cherokee with 204,000 miles.?
Even at 77,000 miles the lumina will be more expensive to work on. It is front wheel drive with independent suspension, alot of moving parts. I the the Cherokee has the 4.0 you can keep putting it back together for a long time for less money even than the younger lumina. Both will cost you money on maintains and I wouldn’t want to rely on either as my only means of transportation. Lumina maybe sill be trouble free for a little while but when it goes it will go big. The jeep may have more issues at this point but much easier to deal with.
