ESET Online Scanner implemented as an ActiveX control, so the optimum is to run it on Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. However, as a new feature, the compatibility with other browsers (Firefox, Opera, Netscape, etc.) was added. The only thing you have to do is to agree to the installation of ESET Smart Installer, an application, which will install and launch ESET Online Scanner in a new browser window.
