Which water return connector should I attach to the sprayer, since there are two connectors on my 12x24x48″ rectangular metal frame pool liner?

Either one will work fine. After connecting the sprayer to the water return connector, remember to insert the flow reduction adapter into the strainer on the other water return connector. This is done in order to provide a good flow rate to the sprayer.
