Adobe and Final Cut Studio Pro are both the industry standard, by which all others are judged. They are both professional software and not for thje faint of heart. Either will do anything you want to do.

If you want to make anime videos, then you may want to buy some animation software such as Anime Studio Debut or even a 3D animation program such as Animation Master. You could budget for both the animation and video editing software by buying the less expensive Premiere Elements or Vegas Movie Studio programs. Anime Debut is around forty dollars and Vegas Studio or Premiere Elements are around eighty dollars. Vegas Pro 8 and Premiere CS4 cost around seven hundred dollars and neither is useful for character animation. You can download free evaluation versions from each program’s web site to determine which one you prefer, but I would start with the less expensive editing software and buy the animation software as well.
