Again, this varies according to which piece of code you’re reviewing. Clearly with so many different versions extant, that span decades, there are millions of lines of code. The Yankee Group as well as the other analyst firms and members of the press, were only shown small portions of a few pieces of code. In my case, I saw Unix System V, version 4.1.
