Which version of the manuscript needs to be submitted to PubMed Central?
The policy requires submission of the final peer-reviewed manuscript, which is the final version of the peer-review article accepted for journal publication, including all modifications from the peer review process. This version may or may not be different from the final published article, which is the journals authoritative copy of the article, including all modifications from the publishing peer review process, copyediting and stylistic edits, and formatting changes.
