Which version of photoshop should I buy?
If you’re not good at computers, Elements 7 is user friendly. The learning curve on the full CS4 photoshop is massive, in terms of both computer and photography expertise. PSE is for the photography enthusiast, and is split into 4 sections, each having levels. The software’s skill, however, at performing the tasks you give it, is excellent. The vast difference in price is because the full version has features that the very best professional photographers would need (and these guys can sell one picture for mega-bucks). Why pay for stuff you’ll never use, and (like me) probably never understand.
