We recommend using the latest version of EndNote that is compatable with your version of MacOS. If you intend to use EndNote with Microsoft Word to cite while you write and construct a bibliography, you should also make sure that your version of EndNote is compatable with your version of Word. EndNote versions 8 and 9 require Word 2004, while version 6 is compatible with Word X. EndNote 5 runs in Classic Mode and can be used with Word 98 and Word 2001.
