Which University did the Princeton Review list as the best party school?”
Princeton Review lists top party schools: Kegger-proof your teen? by Carrie Stetler/The Star-Ledger Monday July 27, 2009, 2:51 PM The Princeton Review ‘s top party school list for 2009 is out, and if your kid is heading off to Penn State University (number one on the list) or The University of Florida (number two), it might be a good time to have that talk about jello shots and beer bongs. The list was part of Princeton Review’s “The Best 371 Colleges” annual guide, which polled 122,000 students nationwide on topics like “most popular study abroad program” and “least acessible professors.” But the party list is the one that generates the most buzz. Speaking of which: the University of Colorado took the “reefer madness” title this year, while Brigham Young University in Utah reigns as most “stone-cold sober,” a distinction it has held for the past 12 years. No New Jersey schools made the top 20. So if your child is going to college in-state, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
The Princeton Review has published this years list of the best colleges in the country. The rankings were done soley by students at the universities. Penn State, which is located in University Park, PA was given the dubious title of best party school. So if you are looking for a party to entertain you while getting your education Penn State is the place to be.
