Which type of ice causes direct change in sea levels Ice sheet or Sea Ice? Why?

0

Sea Ice occupies the same (roughly) volume in the sea as when it melts to water! Ice sheet is on land, so when it slides into the sea it slightly raises the sea level! If the Arctic melts nothing happens as it is solid ice already in the sea. If the Antarctica (or Greenland) icecap melts we all start swimming!
