Which type of gelatin does Milk Cereal Bars Cinnamon Toast Crunch have?
There is only one kind of gelatin and it comes from boiled animal bones, hides and connective tissue. There are plant-derived thickeners that function *like* gelatin, but they are not gelatin and thus never appear in an ingredient list as gelatin. They would appear in an ingredient list under their own proper name, like agar agar, carageenan, etc. If you see the word gelatin, it’s a slaughter byproduct.
