Which type of engineers design and construct Roller Coasters?
Mechanical. Think about it, its full of metal and mechanics. The civil is responsible for the layout (land area such as digging, leveling, adding asphalt, gravel, understanding what is below etc. They do the needed ground work measurements that will be given to the mechanical engineer to do the rest such as measurements of everything using the civil engineers work or on the other hand, the mechanical engineer does the roller coaster and the civil engineer is responsible for it to stand on earth according to how the mechanical drawn it.
