Which training program would be most appropriate for improving skating speed or, more specifically, for hockey?
The hockey program, “Skate Faster With Isometric Training”, is written but has not come off the printing press as of yet and probably won’t for some time. However, the best program I recommend for skating faster would be the Run Faster program. This has all of the muscle groups involved in skating as well. Skating is a lot like running on ice and so if you don’t mind the references to “running” in the Run Faster program, then this would be the best program to help you start skating faster.
