Which tomatoes shall I grow for best flavour?
The heirloom tomatoes have the best flavor as far as I’m concerned, but they sometimes have issues with blight. My personal favorites are BeefMaster (a large dense meaty tomto, which you have to keep well-watered or it’ll split), and Better Boy (smaller, but has a nice taste). I’m in Florida, and too much sun is an issue, but I found a variety one year that the fruit grew under the leaves, and the leaves were large. It was perfect for Florida. Regretfully, I can’t remember the name of it.
