I would also recommend taking muscle milk because I feel that it is a great supplement. I would stay away from creatine because that will just bulk you up with a lot of water weight and make you appear bloated. I just stick to a regular multi vitamin form GNC because taking all of those pills can be a lot at times. If you take a protein it is good to take it upon waking up especially if you workout in the morning and then after you workout you should consume another protein shake 30-45 minutes after. I take protein between meals also to keep the metabolism going so I try to take 4-5 shakes throughout the day. They say that you should take 1 gram of protein for every pound of weight, but at times that is a lot and most of the time you urinate that out, plus it can be very expensive.
