Which teams recent achievements are reflected the worst by the new FIFA rankings?
Over 4 years Ghana has a more impressive resume. It’s supposed to be based on 4 years worth of matches. It’s ridiculous. Definitely doesn’t warrant being 17 sports lower than Egypt. And Uruguay might take the cake, 6th. They finished 5th in CONMEBOL. The rankings consider them 3rd best, apparently, from CONMEBOL. Chile and Paraguay are better. DAG, It’s not that USA is ranked too high. It’s the fact the Ghana is ranked too low, in my opinion. I know you hate the USA but let’s use level thinking here. The US beat Spain in the Confed Cup and narrowly missed out on defeating Brazil. The US also beat Egypt at the same tourney. The US won the CONCACAF in qualifying for WC. And made KO stage of the WC. FIFA rankings are based on 4 years worth of results with the more recent supposedly counting higher towards ranking points. So, the US is actually ranked legit in my opinion. So please do not slam the US when you really have no valid basis to even do it. The hate is just seething from that ans
