Which team has more fans jumping on their bandwagon now?
I’ve been a diehard Maple Leafs fan for the majority of my life, but I honestly was a Penguins bandwagon fan from a few years ago, but came out of the closet about it last year. I have a friend who’s from Russia, and he followed Malkin up in Magnitogorsk, and really liked him… So I thought I might give the Pens a try. I consider myself a loyal fan now, and have honestly noticed an increase in “fans”. I live up here in Vermont, where the closest team is the Habs, followed by the B’s, and I have seen so many Penguins hats, t-shirts, jerseys, everything else, in the past few months. Everybody I see with Pens apparel I’ll usually ask them who their favorite player is, and of course, 99% of the time its Crosby. I know I shouldnt judge them, but it does get pretty annoying.
