Which team do you feel has the strongest midfield: Man U, Barca, or Juve?
Tommy Smyth: That is a tough call. Man U certainly has the fastest midfield. I also feel Giggs and Beckham are as good a crossers as there are in the game. Barcelona has probably the best player in the world in Figo and he can win a game on his own. Juventus plays a much different tempo then any of them. So I would say it is like comparing apples and oranges. But there wouldn’t be much between them. Woodinho: Why does Brazil soccer get, I feel, so little respect world wide? It seems that although the Brazilian players are arguably the best in the world. The league as a whole gets little coverage or acknowledgement? What gives? Tommy Smyth: One of the problems with Brazil is that there are 28 state championships. So logistically it is a problem to cover them all.
