Which symbologies are reccomended for the barcodes?

The most commonly used symbologies are: Code 128, EAN 8 and Interleaved 2/5 for circular barcodes; Code 128 and Code 39 for linear barcodes. Except for Code 39, all other symbologies should be used with a check digit (for Code 128 and EAN 8 it is always needed, for Interleaved 2/5 it is optional but reccomended to avoid incomplete readings).
