Which strategies can companies that previously enjoyed monopoly adopt?
UIA is cognizant of the fact that some companies will suffer the effects of this integration, but we believe that it will be a temporary set-back. We do not imagine that the Common Market will not have its teething problems – it will. But the onus will be on each partner state, and especially the individual companies to ensure their survival in this highly competitive environment.
