I was raped as well when i was 16 when you go to the hospital it’s called a Rape Kit they will test your blood and give you a pelvic exam that will check for all STD’S including HIV. That day! Than you will have a follow up appointment with either a clinic or your doctor to test you again. The hiv test is every 3 to six months. In a pap smear you get all of your std cultures like chlamydia, trichinosis, gonorrhea, herpes, etc..But any time they take blood it automatically gets checked for hiv. and any time you get a pap smear or pelvic exam it’s automatically checked for STDS hope this answers some of your questions.
