Which state has the most lighthouses?
A quick Yahoo! search on “lighthouse” returned several category matches. We chose Architecture > Buildings and Structures > Lighthouses because its scope looked to be the broadest. That turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. The category offers a list of about 75 sites on the subject of lighthouses. Not sure where to start, we clicked on some sites at random. This led to some interesting reading. PBS’s Legendary Lighthouses was particularly impressive, but ultimately didn’t provide an answer to your question.
