Which sport burns calories quicker? Bike rides or swimming?
It depends on what kind of bike riding and what kind of swimming. Mountain biking for an hour or more is better than farting around at the pool with your friends. Doing freestyle laps (correctly) for an hour is better than taking your bike around a leisurely corner for a few minutes. Both are comparable depending on what kind of effort you put in but biking you usually are putting in more effort than not, but swimming for real is probably better as it works more muscle groups and is easier on your joints.
