Which specific +RW rewriteable disks work?

I have a Funai recorder (this operates very similarly to that unit) that loves Memorex DVD+RW 4x disks. Unfortunately, this new 160GB Magnavox recorder HATES these disks. The machine gets to the 90% of formatting it and then concludes that it can’t record on this disk. These are brand new disks I’m trying to use! Please post what specific +RW disks that work for you. I hate to waste more money!!
