Which South East Asian Countries Have Decent Hospitals?

Well, I have been living in SE Asia for 30 years, so you’re in luck. Best hospitals in SE Asia are Singapore and Bangkok (Thailand) hands down. Prices are reasonable (Bangkok is VERY reasonable) and both places have VERY highly skilled doctors who went to medical school in the USA, France, Australia, etc. You don’t have to worry about quacks with degrees from Borneo. Vietnam has International hospitals now. Vietnamese doctors didn’t have a lot to work with in the old days, but made the most of what they had. I’ve had my appendix removed in Hanoi back in 1995 (cost $400 including a private room for a week). If it cannot be treated in VN, I will fly to S’pore or Bangkok, but that doesn’t happen too much anymore.
