Which small rat cage for an Australian climate?

Hello! The first one looks nice, but rats can get ‘Bumblefoot’ from the floor and the ‘shelves’ in there because they are made out of mesh. Bumblefoot is when the feet get sore and blistery and it really hurts them. You may want to cover the floor with a lot of bedding and then get some tile for the ‘shelves’ and cut the tile to the right size to fit the shelves and just sit it on the shelve so that their feet won’t get hurt. The 2nd one is too small. Good luck! If anyone has any questions with rats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, cats, and fish email me at bettasplendensfish@yahoo.
